Financial model review: find what an investor would find, before they do
Send us the model you already have. We check it the way an investor's analyst would, and tell you what to fix.
Most people bring us a model they built themselves, or one from a previous adviser. Some bring one an investor has already questioned. If your model mostly works, a review often costs less than a rebuild.
Want to check it yourself first? Read our checklist case study.

Audit or review
Financial model audit or review?
A financial model audit usually means a formal check by a specialist firm, often for a lender or a large deal. What we do is a review for a raise. Is the model right, and can you defend it?
It isn't a statutory audit or an accountant's sign-off. If a lender needs a formal model audit, we'll tell you. If the model needs a full rebuild, see the pitch deck and financial model package, which starts from $1,000.
Project finance and fund models
We review fund and project models too, with the waterfall and the debt checked against the terms. If it needs rebuilding, see real estate fund models and pitch decks.

Questions
Questions about model reviews
Is this a formal financial model audit?
No. It's a review for a raise: is the model right, and can you defend it? It isn't a statutory audit or an accountant's sign-off. If a lender needs a formal model audit, we'll tell you.
How much does a review cost?
We price it once we've seen the model, because a 5-tab model and a 40-tab model are different jobs. Fixes are quoted separately.
Will you rebuild my model?
Only if it needs it. Most models can be fixed. If yours can't, we'll say so and quote a rebuild, which starts from $1,000 with a deck and teaser.
Can you check my pitch deck too?
Yes. We check the deck's numbers against the model and flag every place they don't match.
Excel or Google Sheets?
Either. Send it in whatever you built it in, and you get it back in the same format.
